     Do you find yourself needing to develop and deliver training sessions? One of the hats HR Professionals wear is trainer you are called on to develop and deliver training sessions that will have impact on your employees. This one hour session will focus on utilization of the ADDIE model to develop training programs that will be appropriate for adult learners. 

     Upon completion of the course the participants will be able to:

    • Describe the ADDIE model
    • Identify and describe adult learning principles
    • Select and design activities with adult learners

     Abbey Hellickson, M.Ed.

    Abbey has been involved in Human Resources and Training and Development throughout her career.  Previous experiences have allowed her develop training solutions with businesses in a variety of business sectors including: healthcare, industrial distribution, manufacturing and sales.

     Abbey also is a course facilitator and conducts training in a number of topic areas including; leadership, teambuilding, time management, mentoring, ethics, diversity, customer service, decision making, safety and sales.

     Abbey has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Winona State University and a Master’s of Education, with an emphasis in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota.  

     

     

    11:00 AM – 11:20 AM:    Unstructured Networking (mix and mingle, share and trade successes and challenges)

    11:20 AM - 11:30 AM: Planned Networking Activity (prepare to have some fun!)

    11:30 AM – Noon: Buffet Lunch (the lunch selection is great so make sure to enjoy the buffet)

    11:50 AM Announcements

    Noon – 1:00 PM: Presentation (prepare to be informed and amazed)

    Fee Schedule for Monthly Meetings/Presentations:

    Members including the lunch buffet: $15.00

    Members for Presentation only: $7.00

    Non-Members including the lunch buffet: $20.00

    Non-Members for Presentation only: $10.00

    First Time Visitors: No Charge, the lunch buffet and presentation is our gift to you.

    Special note on the RHRA Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of meeting registration(s) must be received by RHRA at least 48 business hours prior to the time of the event to avoid charges. Registrations not cancelled 48 hours in advance will incur full charges as a "No Show".
