North Iowa Comprehensive Wellness Conference and Expo February 22

I'd like to invite your members to be a part of a Comprehensive Wellness Conference where members will get a Program Guide, Strategic Action Plans, Evaluations and Assessments and other tools developed in partnership with the National Wellness Institute, the County Department of Public Health and other local resources; where businesses can implement low or no cost Wellness Programs. The early-bird registration rate of $69 expires February 17th; then goes up to $99 over the last five days before Conference date .

We've pre-approval for 5 Credits and the conference is of great benefit for many reasons. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The goal of our conference as a kick-off event to a year long effort of community change is to have Blue Zone's like results in reducing Lifestyle Illnesses and getting better results from and for your employees in reduced health care costs and improved employee performance.

Did you know that the City of Albert Lea saw it's health care costs of its employees come down by 49% in just one year by implementing what we're providing in this conference?

    • The City of Albert Lea's Community Development Director Bob Graham is one of our Break Out Session Speakers and as he put it, they "want to share the message with the world!"
    • A dozen other high powered speakers will take the stage to share the message of each of the eight areas of wellness and how to implement in the workplace.
    • Breakfast and Lunch will be served.  Registration is at 7:45 and last speaker exits at 3:15.
    • A separate Expo event open to the public for $5 online or $7 at the door is from 3pm to 8pm; both events at the Clarion Inn in Mason City. Attendees to the Conference get into the separate Expo event for free.

By attending you will receive Assessments and Evaluations, Action Plans, a Resource Directory, and a SWOT type analysis of all resources for addressing Wellness concerns in your business: all part of a strategy and solutions to skyrocketing Health Care Costs.

Employers have major decisions to make in the coming years about where to invest employee benefit dollars. The goal of the Conference is to give businesses the strategically developed tools to capitalize on the measurable business value of Wellness Benefits in order to increase employee engagement and performance. Business owners, senior-level human resource professionals, public community directors, and health and wellness practitioners deliver the new information and pioneering strategies needed to achieve cost-containment and improve employee health.

Tools and resources provided at the Conference include:

    • Understanding and supporting the eight areas of Comprehensive Wellness in the Workplace
    • Evaluate cost and feasibility versus the return on investment of providing Wellness benefits
    • Develop a comprehensive health and wellness strategy to achieve a true Culture of Health
    • Demonstrate the value of strategic investments in corporate wellness to senior leadership
    • Engage in community-wide initiatives to drive prevention and overall community health
