Welcome to the RHRA!
Welcome to the Rochester Human Resources Association (RHRA) website! RHRA is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, the largest professional Human Resource organization in the world.
National SHRM Members
As a nationally-affiliated SHRM chapter, we are required to maintain a minimum number of National SHRM members. If you are a National SHRM member please contact Sandy Feehan, our Board President or Membership Director, Deb Donahue, to get added to our roster. There are also no minimum attendance requirements for National SHRM members. We encourage you to attend the programs that best suit your needs and interests.
Chapter Meetings:
- Semi-annual half-day conference with various topics - Cost depends on speakers.
- HR trends/topics and industry updates are presented as needed. Events will be found under the Meetings & Events page.
- Monthly HR roundtables - open forum for networking with other HR professionals
Board Meetings:
- Typically the first Wednesday of the month.
Corporate Sponsors:
Our meetings are a great opportunity to connect with the HR community in this area. HR business partners - vendors, suppliers, consultants and local community businesses - are all invited to sponsor any of the programs and events throughout the year. We would like to partner with your and provide a low-cost opportunity to build relationships with your target audience and directly market your services to local decision-makers and consumers of HR-related products and services.
Monthly programs are typically 1-hr in length and attract an average of 35 attendees. Our semi-annual half-day conferences have attracted up to 100 attendees The sponsorship offsets the cost of the facility, food and beverage, and speaker fees. The sponsorship package includes:
- Recognition of sponsorship within the chapter emails and social media messages promoting the event;
- Exhibit table at the event;
- Promotional materials distributed/displayed at the meeting (must be prepared by the sponsor);
- Introduction as the Program Sponsor; and
- 10 min presentation of the company/product/service at the beginning of the meeting.
