    OBJECTIVES

    • Share how training and development is evolving.
    • Gain increased commitment to support the strategic plan of the organization through training and development.
    • Discover creative facilitation tips and techniques that enhance engagement.

    SUMMARY

The creation of a learning plan in the traditional model is to simply tell participants what you are going to tell them, tell them and then tell them what you told them.    A speaker often delivers volumes of important information in a limited amount of time.  This usually ends up with a presenter lecturing and audiences forced to take copious notes in order to retain information.  This information has extremely low retention.  How can we change this?

The key to learning in the workplace is to stimulate the brains of the learners to keep them actively engaged.   This requires being mindful of the fact that diverse audiences bring varied learning styles, knowledge and experiences that can make sessions more realistic.

Join us as we share some of the latest approaches being used in training and development.  Take away some creative facilitation techniques that can be used in your company to acquire engagement and contribute to the bottom line.
