The Department of Labor has proposed several changes to overtime and exemption regulations in recent years. Some of those changes include a significant increase in the minimum salary an exempt white-collar worker must be paid, which is scheduled to go into effect on December 1, 2016. This program offers a brief refresher on FLSA overtime requirements and exemptions along with an update of which proposed changes made it into the final regulations, and how employers may react to the changes.
