Section 503 & VEVRAA - The OFCCP Mandate

Something really big just happened!  The Executive Order overseen by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) just changed multiple processes and established a "benchmark" and a "goal" that will change how organizations (Federal Contractors) do business.  Are you compliant?  This session will review the key points of the legislation and provide information about what needs to be done to make sure you are ready if the OFCCP decides to pay you a visit.  Often these changes at the Federal level trickle down to impact all employers over time so even if you are not a Federal Contractor, this session will give you incite into the thoughts of the EEOC.

    Topics include:

    • Are you a Federal Contractor?  Do you know?
    • What are the expectations for job postings?
    • What are the expectations for contracts?
    • Who do I have to collect information on?
    • What do I do with the information I collect?
    • How long do I have to keep the information I collect?
    • What are my responsibilities toward protected veterans and individuals with disabilities?
