James Godwin from Godwin Law Office will be presenting “FLSA Classification.” This session is HRCI approved.
James is a business litigator at the Godwin Dold law firm in Rochester who devotes much of his practice in labor and employment law. James counsels employers regarding legal compliance issues including wage and hour obligations and discrimination avoidance. He defends employers against employment law claims before the enforcement agencies and in court. James also prepares employment manuals, employment and non-compete agreements, and other employment practices.
James is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the Third District Bar Association, and currently serves as the Vice President/President-Elect of the Olmsted County Bar Association.
James received his B.A. with honors and distinction from the University of Kansas in 2002 and his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2005. James is licensed to practice in Minnesota, California, and Pennsylvania.
