Presentation:
We know it’s challenging to find and hire employees in our current employment market, whether you’re on the farm, in sales or services or other industries. This seminar will examine the H-2B program and recruitment strategies that are hot right now.
Presenters:
The panel will feature John Stiffin, a community services representative for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, Jill Azocar, assistant district director for the U.S. Department of Labor-Wage and Hour Division’s Minneapolis District Office, and Jen Strand from the Forum Communications JobsHQ team.
Stiffin provides outreach for the department and can talk about laws related to the department, as well as services provided to employers and potential employees. Azocar works for the agency responsible for enforcing the labor standards requirements under the H-2B provisions. Strand has worked in employment and jobs recruitment in southeastern Minnesota for more than 10 years.
